Color BarThe Christmas Adventure was/is a dynamic light show that takes ordinary Christmas lights and sets them to the seasons music. We have been around since 2005 and our technology has been advancing ever since!

Now in 2014, we are not focused so much on Christmas light shows, but lighting automation. In the house here we have full DMX control on a daily basis and home brewed web interfaces. Basically, lights and audio controlled from a web application on a cell phone.

Why not Christmas shows? We had a falling out, burnt out and being shunned by the big guys who do displays and suppliers. So I turned my CTB08 Close UPattention to advancing the technology to year-round purposes and automation with excellent results! The Christmas Adventure is now a little bit of everything, mainly I like to talk about the stuff I had to ask and dig for. I use Light-O-Rama products and DMX control. Over the last few years I have typed up primers and guides to get started with these technologies, if you are a beginner, this is the site for you. If it’s Christmas or just re-purposing that technology to use year-round. I’m sure you will find some ideas and help here.

What do I like talking about? On this site you will find topics such as…

  • Audio Editing and Production
  • Lighting
  • RGB Fixtures
  • DMX Control
  • Light-O-Rama Products
  • Tips of the Trade
